Boys Rock

Today I have a scrapbook page I made for my son.  I haven't made a scrapbook page in a few years!  The poor kid will be 6 and he now has 3 pages  LOL.  My daughter on the other hand has about 8 albums! This is my DT project for Kitty Bee Designs.  The theme this week is to Make Some Music so that means either listening to or making music. I used this cute I (heart) Sushi Panda image.  The original digi has an image of sushi under the I heart.  I asked Ruth , the owner of KBD, if I could crop the sushi and add a band name. Here is the original:

So in case you don't know FOB stands for Fall Out Boy who is my son's current obsession!  His big sister Shianne loves them so I'm sure that helps.

I used an SVG file from Miss Kate's Cuttables called Boys Rock.  The files are great and so cheap!  This was only $1.29 and she has daily freebies!  The star borders were a freebie at one time.  Love her stuff.

It's almost time!

Almost time for the 1st day of school that is!  Are you other Moms as excited as I am??  LOL!  Well to help with your excitement we have a new challenge at Kitty Bee Designs and the theme this time is SCHOOL. The sponsor is one of my favorites Bugaboo Stamps.

This image is called Deacon - school sign it.  He is colored with Copics and the chalkboard is colored with chalks.  The tag is an MFT die set Blueprint #9.  I also used the Dots and Dashes die along the edges by Paper Smooches.  That's it! Hope Everything's Ducky!

It's time for my DT project for 613 Avenue Create.

On July 20th 1969 astronaut Neil Armstrong becomes the first person to walk on the moon.  Click the link to learn more about this historic event.

but this weeks optional twist is to 
use a moon and/or stars in your creation.

I've used the Dancing in the Rain Duck

I had this perfect sentiment by Verve Stamps.  My stars for the optional twist are embossed on the yellow cardstock and inked slightly with black ink.  Dies are from MFT and Impression Obsession.  Colored with Copics and chalks, paper pieced umbrella and boots.  Glossy accents were added to the raindrops and puddle.

Hello....

Hi all...long time no post!  I've been so busy with 613 Avenue Create and I've forgotten to post my projects that I created for challenges.  Ugh...don't you just hate when life gets in the way of your creativity??  LOL!  Anyway, here I am with this weeks project for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create which is Anything Goes and since it was World Hello Day on Sunday the optional twist is to create a project with the word Hello in any language.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!  Especially to those single Moms out there!  In many cases you are playing both roles, I've been there and it's not easy!  I have to admit I don't miss it!    :)   
I met my husband 10 years ago and he was so worth waiting for!  He is the most wonderful, hard working and loving husband and Dad ever!

Something for myself :)

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA but my partner at 613 Avenue Create has been on a medical leave for the last 2 months so I have been responsible for everything! So needless to say every spare minute I've had has gone to the challenge blog.  If you haven't visited us yet stop by and see what our talented ladies have come up with for our optional twist.  The challenge is Anything Goes  but the optional twist is to create something for yourself.  You know how it is you make cards and gifts for everyone and their brother but rarely anything for you! 

 I was actually able to finish my project this week, our sponsors are A Day for Daisies and Fitztown.   I chose the A Day for Daisies image Ladybug Hello because of course she reminds me of Shianne especially with the ladybugs!  I made a binder for all of my sponsor information for 613 Avenue Create Challenge #74.

This image is called Pondering Thoughts and this girl Sally reminds me of my daughter Shianne when she was little.  She was and still can be a tomboy at heart.  She's away at college now but I always send her cards with Sally.  I love her bare feet which I've made a little dirty  :)

Hi all!  Just a quick post today because I am sick again!  I have bronchitis again...really?  I had it in January and not to mention the numerous head colds I've had this winter.  Ugh I'm sick of being sick and I'm sick of winter, even though technically it's "Spring"...well I'm not feelin' it!  Ok enough complaining from me  :)  Here's a card I was able to finish for the Outlawz CAS challenge this week which was to use a frame.  I love this new House Mouse image called Tiny Jumper.

Snow...enough already!

Hi everyone!  I've been MIA for a few weeks!  I've been sick, over loaded at work and dealing with all of these snow storms we've been getting in the Northeast!  I'm done with the snow let me tell you.  I'm a Spring and Autumn kinda girl!  So anyway today I have a card I made for my daughter, Shianne, who happens to like the snow and elephants!  LOL!      Today I have a project for our first challenge of 2014 at 613 Avenue Create! 

Our sponsors are ALL DRESSED UP  and SQUIGGLEFLY.  I chose an image from All Dressed Up for our optional theme of  Colors, Sights, Sounds of Winter.

I realize green isn't a color associated with Winter but the snowflakes are!

And this particular shade of green was so difficult to photograph!  

It's really a little deeper than this.

 The candies are called Sixlits...remember those as a kid or am I dating myself?  Anyway I thought they were perfect for little "snowballs"!

It's very hard to see but I used Icicle Stickles on the snowflakes and the "hi".
