Shamrock M&M's

Hi everybody!

Here are some quick and easy treats to make for friends and family.  Seems like I'm always behind...hmmm...kind of like my day job!  LOL!

http://kathiscreativetherapy.blogspot.com/

I used a QuicKutz Shamrock die , inked the edges and glued it to mini clothespin.  I folded a doily in half and inked the edges with Spanish Oliver VersaMagic ink.  That's all folks!  Easy peasy!

Til next time!
Hugs,
Kathi

My Favorite Lucky Charm

Hi Everyone!

I'm here with this week's challenge at 613 Avenue Create.   The theme is Anything Goes with the optional sketch I've created:

Now I have 2 versions of the same wall hanging for you.  Many many years ago when I did craft shows I had some rubber stamps made with my favorite Irish sayings.  The one I originally used I thought was a little too fresh to put on the challenge blog so I created another banner with the "You're my favorite lucky charm" stamp (it's a new wood mounted but no company name on it...not smart)   Anyway, I put it over the original banner and took a picture that way as well.

So there you have it my fresh side and my sweet side  LOL!!  Yes, I hear some of my friends chuckling saying " oh that's nothin' you should hear her in person!!"   :)

The details:  Theodore Shamrock by Bugaboo, colored with chalks, Spectrum Noir and Copics.  Banner dies from MFT, scalloped oval and oval center by Spellbinders, mini heart is a new die from Lawn Fawn, papers from stash

Well that's it for now...hope you can join us this week!

Kathi

St. Patrick's Day Treats

This is a sign I made for my daughter Shianne.  She mentioned once that she liked this saying and when I got it in a Verve stamp set (called Blessings)  I knew I would use it for her somehow.  The bear stamp is by Judith and colored with chalks.  Lower corners was a Spellbinders square cut diagonally.  Ribbon from Joann's and the glitter cardstock by DCWV.

This container had tootsie rolls in it left over from Valentine's day but I took them out and put green M+M's in it.  The bear is a very old stamp from DJ Inkers.  I love her bears!!  Guess I just like bears in general LOL.  I used chalks again, my preferred method of coloring images in.

The top of the container.  This is one of G studio $1 stamps.
And now for the yummy stuff  :)  I used Spellbinders for the scalloped square and the circles.  Shamrocks were cut from an SVG file on my Make the Cut and Cricut.  The Irish sayings are stamps that I had made many years ago when I was doing craft shows and renting retail space.  I have several more and I just love them!

The lighting is terrible but I was trying to get close up so you could read the phrases.  On the circle I inked the edges in gold.  The shimmer green paper I bought at Joann's along with the ribbon.
