Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to my friends who are celebrating today!  Sorry I haven't been around much lately, you know how life can get in the way of your passion!  With the encouragement of friends & family I've finally opened an Etsy shop.  If you would like to check it out you can find me here Kathi Silvia - Etsy.

I have some treats I made for my son to give to his teachers this year. They are packs of Trident gum wrapped in paper with some adorable Mama Elephant images from the set called Bootastic.

Hope you have a safe Halloween!  Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Kathi

Haven't heard a Peep :)

Hey I'm actually here with a non DT card!  I know right?  LOL!  I made an Easter card for a friend that I haven't heard from in a while.  Hope you like!

The patterned paper is from a 6x6 MME pad called Remarkable, all other paper, dies and sentiment are from My Favorite Things. Micro hearts are from the Mama Elephant confetti die and the peep was a freebie from Create with TLC.

Happy Easter to those who are celebrating!
Hugs,
Kathi

Bella Sweet Tea

This is my second post today.  I'm here with a book mark I made for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create.   The challenge is Anything Goes but our optional twist is to create a RAK because February 17th is National RAK day!  In case you don't know a RAK is a Random Act of Kindness.  Just a little something to make someone's day maybe a little card for your favorite bank teller or a candy treat for the mailman, in my case I made a book mark for my elderly neighbor who loves to read  :)

We have a new sponsor this week
Etsy Shop
 visit Faery Ink Designs

I used the image Bell Sweet Tea. Colored with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, stamp by Mama Elephant - In My Heart set, dies by Spellbinders, MME paper, crinkle ribbon and a vintage WWII era button!

I bought a bag of misc. buttons at Savers (big chain thrift store) and these buttons were in the bag. On the card it's stamped "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN".  Wow huh?  I hate to use them but I don't think they're really worth anything.  And I know my neighbor, who is 82, will appreciate the extra embellishment.

Well thanks for stopping by again!  I appreciate the company  ;)  Stop by  613 Avenue Create and see what the other ladies have created this week!  Oh and you can see the awesome RAK I received this week from Sara on the DT!!  She is such an incredibly talented artist!

Kathi
