Think Pink

Hi again...busy week!  Here's a card I made for another friend who lost her mother to breast cancer when she was just 52.  Much too young...so this is a special month for us.  I used the Meljen's Designs  Tic Tac Toe Challenge and the Link Up For Pink 2nd Anniversary Linking Party for inspiration.

 

 I used Buttons, Bling & Twine.  Bra digi from Meljen's colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol shadow with blue chalks.  Floral Doily and banners dies by Spellbinders.  Sentiment by MFT, paper by Lilybee Design, Jolee's crystal attached with glossy accents and Stickles on the heart and swirls.

Thanks for stopping in and remember to schedule those mammograms!!  Honestly, I had been putting my first one off for a few years until I found out my cousin was diagnosed then I ran to have it done!  And it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!  Barely hurt...granted she had plenty to work with   :)  Even still they called me back for a second one and then did an ultrasound of both and they said everything was ok.   So be brave and have the "girls" checked!
