Link up for PINK!

It's that time of year again when our focus is on bringing awareness to breast cancer.  Personally, this is a cause that is close to my heart and I wear pink all year long!  It's the 3rd Annual Link up for Pink linking party which you can find HERE.  You still have time to get some entries in...I'm running behind so I'll have a few posts!

Ladybug for my Lovebug

Here's a card I made for my daughter...my lovebug  :)   This is a free digi from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs called Little Lady Bug.  Tricia always has a free weekly cutting file as well!  Her images are sooo cute!  Check them out!

I originally colored her with Prismacolor pencils & Gamsol but I ended up going over the black with a black Copic.  I always do the skin with Copics.  I used blue chalk for the background/shadow but it just does not show at all in this pic.  I used black diamond Stickles on her dots.  I used some old corner rounder scissors, Oval Doily by Cottage Cutz, Fishtail Flags by MFT.

I haven't decorated the outside of an envelope in years!  I stippled the clouds with Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue and hand drew the lady bug trail.  I mailed it almost a week ago and she hasn't received it yet!  I did seal the back with washi tape so I really hope one of the machines didn't eat it!!
