Boys Rock

Today I have a scrapbook page I made for my son.  I haven't made a scrapbook page in a few years!  The poor kid will be 6 and he now has 3 pages  LOL.  My daughter on the other hand has about 8 albums! This is my DT project for Kitty Bee Designs.  The theme this week is to Make Some Music so that means either listening to or making music. I used this cute I (heart) Sushi Panda image.  The original digi has an image of sushi under the I heart.  I asked Ruth , the owner of KBD, if I could crop the sushi and add a band name. Here is the original:

Here is what I did with him:

So in case you don't know FOB stands for Fall Out Boy who is my son's current obsession!  His big sister Shianne loves them so I'm sure that helps.

I used an SVG file from Miss Kate's Cuttables called Boys Rock.  The files are great and so cheap!  This was only $1.29 and she has daily freebies!  The star borders were a freebie at one time.  Love her stuff.

Mr. Bitty

I'm here with my DT Spotlight for Kitty Bee Designs which you can see at Aloha Friday Challenges. I'm using an image called Mr. Bitty.  I love Halloween so I decided to make this Hershey bar box. I found the box at SVGCuttingFiles.com it can be found here -> Candy Bar Holder.

Mr. Bitty is colored with Copics and so is the purple background.  I added some stars from the Avery Elle set Written in the Stars.  I used a My Favorite Things doily die under the image.  The edges and the little fangs and teeth have some Star Dust Stickles added to them.  I don't know who makes the sentiment because I bought it at a resale and it wasn't labeled.  If anyone knows who makes it let me know!

A new Aloha Friday Challenge starts tomorrow, stop by and check it out!

Thanks for stopping by!

Almost time for the 1st day of school that is!  Are you other Moms as excited as I am??  LOL!  Well to help with your excitement we have a new challenge at Kitty Bee Designs and the theme this time is SCHOOL. The sponsor is one of my favorites Bugaboo Stamps.

This image is called Deacon - school sign it.  He is colored with Copics and the chalkboard is colored with chalks.  The tag is an MFT die set Blueprint #9.  I also used the Dots and Dashes die along the edges by Paper Smooches.  That's it! Pretty simple this time  :)  We hope you have some time to join us for the next 2 weeks at Kitty Bee Designs or just come check out the inspiration from the DT!

Summer Fun

Hi all,

I'm running a little late with my Kitty Bee Designs project!  This was one of those projects that I had a great idea to make a Christmas ornament with sand, shells and sea glass but that just didn't happen. Instead I have a card for our Summer Fun theme for the Aloha Friday Challenge.  You can find Kitty Bee images on Etsy HERE.

The sea turtle was printed on watercolor paper where I used the saran wrap technique.  Shading was added with Copics.  The sentiment stamp is by My Favorite Things.

I put him on an action wobble and bent his fins upward so it looks like he's swimming!

I like the way it turned out even though it wasn't my original vision.  Stop by the Aloha Friday Challenge to see what the other DT ladies have created.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Kathi

Kitty Bee love note

I'm here today with my DT spotlight for Kitty Bee Designs.  There is still another week to enter the current challenge.  This time I used the Best Friends Bun image. My husband (and best friend) reminded me recently that I haven't left him any love notes in his lunch bag or wallet in a long time.  Poor thing must feel neglected LOL!  So his love note measures 2.5" x 3" and colored with Copics.  I used a Spellbinder banner die, Mama Elephant confetti die for the hearts and the sentiment is by Verve Stamps. Paper is from a 6x6 American Crafts pad.  I added a little clear WOS to the heart too, just because it needed just a little sparkle LOL!  Hope you like this snuggly pair!

Birthday Bear

Hi!

Happy Friday!  It's time for the new challenge at Kitty Bee Designs the Aloha Friday challenge theme is BIRTHDAY.  Easy Peasy huh?  We all need birthday cards, right?  For my DT project I used this adorable little bear.

The heart/banner and bear dress/shoes are water colored  and paper pieced.  Bear was colored with Copics and I used the colorless blender to "dot" the image after coloring it to add some texture.  Dies are by My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn.  And I added a few Jolee's crystals to the flowers.  I hope you like my first official DT project for Kitty Bee Designs!  Come join the fun!

If a cow laughs......

Hi Everyone!

I'm here today to share my first DT Spotlight for Kitty Bee Designs!  I just love the images I think they are just too cute!  I chose an image from the Cows 1 set.  I printed the image 3" tall.  I love this saying, for some reason it just makes me chuckle  :)   It was printed on the computer.

This cutie was colored with Copics then fussy cut and popped up with foam on the sponged cloud background.  I used an Avery Elle stitched edge die on the rectangle and a I believe the grass die is by Impression Obsession.  I also ran the chisel tip of my Copic R37 around the edges of the words.  The red vintage seam binding was bought at a yard sale, I'm always on the look out for that!

So come join the current challenge - #49 Masculine Cards at the Aloha Friday Challenges!  You still have 1 week to join.
