Some More Halloween!

I have another project to share with you today.  Some sweet treats for my daughter.  I just love the Pure Innocence stamp line by MFT Stamps!  They always remind me of my daughter when she was little.

I wrapped some Hershey nuggets in some digital papers by Decosse's Dynamite Doodles and used an alphabet die set by MFT for the BOO.The ghosts are a die by Impression Obsession.  She was colored with Copics and fussy cut with a paper pieced dress.

I may be back with one more post today!

Kathi

Summer Fun

Hi all,

I'm running a little late with my Kitty Bee Designs project!  This was one of those projects that I had a great idea to make a Christmas ornament with sand, shells and sea glass but that just didn't happen. Instead I have a card for our Summer Fun theme for the Aloha Friday Challenge.  You can find Kitty Bee images on Etsy HERE.

The sea turtle was printed on watercolor paper where I used the saran wrap technique.  Shading was added with Copics.  The sentiment stamp is by My Favorite Things.

I put him on an action wobble and bent his fins upward so it looks like he's swimming!

I like the way it turned out even though it wasn't my original vision.  Stop by the Aloha Friday Challenge to see what the other DT ladies have created.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Kathi

K for Kimono

Hi everyone,

Playing with the watercolors again  :)  Boy do I need to practice!  LOL!!  Here is a card I made for the Outlawz CAS challenge which is to use and embellishment or image that begins with the first letter of your first or last name.  That was a tough one and of course I couldn't do something simple like key or kite!  I new I had an old unmounted Kimono stamp which I dug out and used, also the HB stamp is an old UM.  I don't know who made either because I didn't label them...my bad I know!   I've been missing my stamps.  I love digi's but my first love was good 'ol rubber!  Hope you like  :)

Hugs,
Kathi

Be Mine

Last one I promise!!  LOL!  Yes this is my 5th project for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create. This Melonheadz Illustrations image is a freebie called...well...Owl!   It is a pre-colored image which I fussy cut, popped up with foam dots and put some Stickles on his heart.  Sentiments are from the Notched Tag set by MFT stamps.  The dies, ink and Berrylicious paper are also from MFT.  Our optional twist this week is to add some doodling which I added at the bottom of the mini milk carton.  I tried to make a heart beat but I'm sure it's not accurate! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!

Kathi

Get Well

Ok so here is my 4th Melonheadz Illustrations project for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create.  Our optional twist this week is to add some doodling which I've done around the edge of the card to match the image.  The image is called Bandaid from  Lori's Medical Bundle.
I used the Cuttlebug Cross My Heart embossing folder, mini sentiment from the Notched Tags set by My Favorite Things, fussy cut the heart and bandaid then popped them up with foam dots.  Stop by 613 Avenue Create for some excellent inspiration form the DT ladies!

I printed the bear on craft CS and colored it with watercolors, fussy cut the image and popped up with foam dots.  I used a pink pigment ink on the edges of the scalloped Spellbinders die.  I added some pale pink MME enamel dots in the corners.

You Rock!

Hi everyone!

I know my posts have been few and far between  :(    It's not because I haven't been crafting because I have!  I told people at work they have to stop leaving and having birthdays!  I can't keep up!  LOL!  Between that, running 613 Avenue Create by myself, work and family...I'm going bonkers!!!  Whew...well speaking of 613 Avenue Create our challenge this week is Anything Goes and the optional theme is Party Time!  Whatever you may be celebrating works for us!  Come link up your projects HERE!  You could win prizes from our sponsors this week:

I chose to use the Guitar digi from Oak Pond Creations.  For the guitar I water colored the paper and put sea salt on it.  Love that technique but I didn't get my usual results because the humidity was 97% that day!  Ugh can say gross?  It sat in front of the fan for 2 hours and still didn't dry!  I had to dry it with the hair dryer.  Anyway, it still came out ok.  I fussy cut layered it and added some enamel dots for the knobs.  I popped it up on the base which was embossed with a Darice flames folder and sanded.  The sentiment is by Verve.

Hope you like it!  Come see out what our talented DT ladies have come up with this week!
Hugs,
Kathi   :)

Peace, Love, Snow

Hi All,
Today I have a project for our first challenge of 2014 at 613 Avenue Create
Our sponsors are ALL DRESSED UP  and SQUIGGLEFLY.  I chose an image from All Dressed Up for our optional theme of  Colors, Sights, Sounds of Winter.
I realize green isn't a color associated with Winter but the snowflakes are!
And this particular shade of green was so difficult to photograph!
It's really a little deeper than this.
The candies are called Sixlits...remember those as a kid or am I dating myself?  Anyway I thought they were perfect for little "snowballs"!
It's very hard to see but I used Icicle Stickles on the snowflakes and the "hi".
So that's it for now...thanks for stopping by!  And don't forget to link up on our
We have some awesome sponsors and prizes!

Hugs,
Kathi

I'll have a cafe`,mocha,vodka,valium latte!

Hi Everyone!
It's time for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create and our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps who I just adore!  Our option is to create a CAS (Clean And Simple) card/project.  I've gotten better at CAS, although I still want to add "stuff".  I chose to work with JJ coffee to go and let's just say this sentiment is hysterical!  If anyone knows where I can get one of her coffee's just let me know!  LOL!
Ok...I know...it's not exactly CAS because I did do paper piecing but for me it's CAS!  LOL!
Well that's it for now...see you Tuesday for my TTCRD DT project!
