Quirky Owl

Hi all!  It's time again for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create.  This week the Optional Twist is Birds of a Feather now this is definitely open to your interpretation!  Could be birds, feathers, angels, etc, etc.  We have two great sponsors this week DOODLE PANTRY and  OAK POND CREATIONS.  I've chosen to work with Doodle Pantry's Quirky Owl image.  I used dies from MFT's Blueprints 9 & 10.  I just love that line of dies!
I snipped some of the leaves off of the vine so it looked more like a branch.  I paper pieced the owl with papers from my stash.  The cardstock is from MFT in Primitive Cream and Berrylicious.  I distressed the edges with the Tim Holtz tool.

Kathi

Lighthouse Birthday

Here's a birthday card I made for my sister-in-law who loves lighthouses. This is an image from www.doodlepantry.com that comes pre-colored or plain digi image, also comes with two coordinating digi papers.  I chose to color mine with Prismacolor pencils...I know shocking!  LOL!  And I haven't used mulberry paper in years!  I'm entering this in their challenge this month.

Car key card and my new watermark

I made this cute car key card for my daughter when she got her license.  It's an SVG from My Scrap Chic card shapes vol. 3.  I rubbed the bottom portion of the key with silver pigment ink and embossed with silver EP, the name stamp I had made years ago at a craft fair.  She really loved it  :)

I just had this watermark made at Doodle Pantry and it only cost me $3.00!!  Laurie, the owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with!  She has great digital stamps, SVG's and freebie's too!  I also downloaded Photoscape which is a free picture editing software and I like it so far.  Well thanks for stopping by!   Kathi  :)
