Good Luck Panda

Hi everyone,

I'm using Lucky Bamboo Panda for my spotlight at Kitty Bee Designs .  This adorable image was colored with Copics and layered on a Memory Box die. The Asian inspired paper is very old and from my stash.  Mini flag die and good luck sentiment are from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by today!

I Love You SMORE!

Hi all!
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!  Today I have my DT project for the last challenge of 2013 at 613 Avenue Create.  I can't believe it's been a year since I started the weekly challenge blog with Chana and I'm so glad I did  :)  Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps and I've used the Old Snow Star digi for my project.

So here's the story behind the title/project.  Ever since my daughter, Shianne, was little she would say "I love you" and my reply would be "I love you more".  Well then that would turn into a playful argument of "No...I love YOU more" until one day IO told her not to argue with her mother  LOL!  She's 19 and we still say it and laugh.  I love that kid!  :)  So between that and the fact that she was a Girl Scout for 13 years she can't help bu love smores...hence the "I love you smore!" project.  I'll send it to her at school when she goes back next month.

I used a very versatile SVG file from My Scrap Chick called Caddy Essentials.  I used the #7 caddy, made two of them and glued together.  She has some incredible files and great prices too!  You should check it out.
Until next time!
Hugs,
Kathi

Ladybug Hugs!

Hi again!
Our challenge this week at 613 Avenue Create is Anything Goes but the twist is to create a card, gift, etc. for a grandparent or grandchild.  Sunday the 8th was Grandparents Day!  I made a little hanger for my mom to send to my daughter at school.

We have two sponsors this week:  The Paper Shelter and Shelly's Images.  The sentiment I've used is from Shelly's.

I used Glossy Accents on the word Ladybug and the ladybug wings.  I used Crystal Stickles on the hand drawn trail.  Stop by our "neighborhood" at 613 Avenue Create and see what we've been up to!
Hugs!

Dainty butterfly

Hi again!  I'm here with my DT card for Through The Craftroom Door challenge blog.  Our sponsor this week is Oozak who sells tons of supplies and stamps.  He sells the Memory Box butterfly die which I've used on my card.  The paper looks black but it's really a pretty deep purple.  The patterned paper is by Maja Design which I won in that huge blog candy  :)

I used some old beads and Swarovski Crystals for the body and added Jolee's Hotfix Crystals to the wings.  I always use Glossy Accents to adhere the crystals.
Hope you can join us this week at TTCRD where the challenges are always Anything Goes!
Hugs,
Kathi

Cheers!

Hi everyone,
I'm here today with my DT card for the Through The Craftroom Door  Anything Goes Challenge.  The roses were white so I colored the edges with a Copic then used the colorless blender to soften the lines.  Then I added Stickles to the edges.  I also colored the dotted CS with a matching Copic before cutting all of the leaves/swirl.  I used the Stickles on the dress and as earrings and champagne bubbles.

Thank for stopping by!
Hugs!

Sailor Girl

Hi Everyone!
This is my 1st post as a Through The Craftroom Door (TTCRD)  DT member!  The challenges at TTCRD are weekly and always Anything Goes.   Today I have a card using the Rick St. Dennis image "Gigi" although I call her Sailor Girl  :)  Anyone who knows my work knows that I love to crop the images I work with.  This is no exception!

Nothing like a close up to accentuate your little boo-boo's!  Still learning and getting used to the Copics  :)  I used a Vintage Button stick pin from Maya Road instead of the balloon.  I used a pop dot under the heart but it's hard to see because I colored the edges of the dot red.  Then I used Glossy Accents to attach a vintage anchor button.

I used a new Cuttlebug folder called Cross My Heart then lightly sanded it, also distressed the heart and Hopmeadow Circle die by Memory Box.

I hope you'll stop by to see the rest of the DT's projects.  I really am honored to design with a group of very talented and sweet ladies!  Through The Craftroom Door Anything Goes Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Kathi
