Some More Halloween!

I have another project to share with you today.  Some sweet treats for my daughter.  I just love the Pure Innocence stamp line by MFT Stamps!  They always remind me of my daughter when she was little.

I wrapped some Hershey nuggets in some digital papers by Decosse's Dynamite Doodles and used an alphabet die set by MFT for the BOO.The ghosts are a die by Impression Obsession.  She was colored with Copics and fussy cut with a paper pieced dress.

I may be back with one more post today!

I'm back! Happy New Year!!

Sorry I was MIA for December...it just flew right by!!  As usual I have made things but haven't had time to post them.  Here is a different version of Snowman Soup.  I know I did it last year but these are so much cuter!  I'll be entering it in the challenge (HERE) at Fantabulous Cricut this week's challenge is #92 Warming up with cocoa or to use the color brown.
The mug is an SVG from Whimsie Doodles and the snowman is a digi stamp from Whimsie as well.  Paper for the mug is Basic Grey Figgy Pudding/Glacier.  Image is colored with chalks and copics, I used Stickles on the stripe of snowmans cup and the heat swirls but it doesn't show in the pic.  I used a white galaxy marker by American Crafts for the dots on the scallop circle and I like the way it works so far.  Tan circle is 3", scallop punch 2 1/2" snowman circle is 2".

Here is another version I made and the Snowman Soup Poem is again from Whimsie Doodles digi stamps.

The candies in the bag are the Hershey nuggets wrapped with an Avery label that was stamped with the Pepertrey Ink Holiday Treats set.  I show how to do them HERE

Well I need to get working on my Valentine's!  That's my favorite holiday to craft for...if there were more time in the fall it might be Christmas but with so many birthday from October - December 23 it just never happens!

Final baby shower favor, birthday card and a tip

Hi all sorry I didn't get this out sooner but that dastardly little Easter bunny brought my family a virus!  I don't think I've been that sick in about 12 years!  Ugh...well I'm feeling alive again so I'm back at the computer  :)
Here are the favors I made for the shower.  The Hershey Nuggets I buy in bulk at BJ's wholesale and 3 out of the 4 flavors have almonds.  I made as many "nut free" versions as I could get out of the bag.  I made a little sign for the table re: if anyone had a nut allergy, etc but...I forgot to take a pic.  Anyhoo here they are.
This version has 4 nuggets instead of 2 and the they say twins.  I stippled those labels pink then ran them through the printer.  The stamp on the other is from Papertrey Ink made specifically for address labels and the little feet in the circle is an older peg style stamp.  Thank you stamp by Verve,  I used their new Charming Oval die and inked the edges.  The scalloped border was actually a pair of scissors (I know how old school!  LOL)
Here is a mini centerpiece.  The container is actually a small baby formula can (powdered) covered with paper that was punched with a MS scalloped punch.   I used the New Arrival cart for the Mommy cut at 10" and for the double hearts.  I used the swirl Cuttlebug folder on the hair and the dots folder on the pants.  I inked the edges of the shirt and the pocketbook.  Rhinestones were used as a belt.

Now for a thrifty tip.  I like to buy the $1 packs of blank cards with envelopes to decorate for birthdays at work.   I get them at Target, Michael's and Joanns.  Well I got a good deal at Michael's this time they weren't blank but they were marked to .50 and I had a 20% coupon so they were .40 which = .05 per card/envelope!  So since they had designs of various sizes I decided to cover their image with cardstock and a stamped image.
I like that they have a silver border also the envelopes are pink.  Even the ribbon was re-purposed, I think  it was tied around a pair of pj's my daughter received as a gift!
I made this for Denzel's kindergarten teacher...I love the saying   :)

Until next time...happy crafting!

Baby shower favors

I was asked to make shower favors and she is having a girl.  Here are the samples I made.
Hershey bar wrapped with paper from Joann's, tag stamp/thank you/die cut from Verve
Hershey nuggets wrapped with address labels that were stippled with pigment ink then I ran them through the cuttlebug,  oval die and stamp by Verve,  the tiny dot on the ends was from a dollar stamp that had a row of dots so I cut one off and used it to look like a brad.

Trident gum

M&M's, Spellbinders scalloped square folded in half wrapped around the 1"x8" cellophane bag, little chick from the Chicks Rule set by Verve, colored with chalks and a dot of stickles in the center of the flower.
Hershey bar

She didn't choose any of these but we discussed a few other ideas as she is having twins!  I'll let you know what I come up with  :)     Hugs...Kathi
