Delicious Doodles GDT

Did you know that Delicious Doodles is back in business with a new Etsy shop?  Well they're back!  And I'm the GDT this week!  Check out the Delicious Doodles Facebook Group.  I'm using the Leather and Lace image.

Colored her with Copics, Wink of Stella and added Glossy Accents to her eyes and lips. I used Spellbinders dies and some very old paper from Paper Adventures (are they even in business anymore?)  You know it was one of those pretty papers I never wanted to cut!  You know what I'm talking about LOL!  I matted the image on some mulberry paper.  I have a tip for tearing the mulberry paper HERE.  I finished it off with some satin ribbon and a rhinestone charm.  In hindsight I should have added some rhinestones to the corners of the card.

Thank you to Delicious Doodles for having me as their GDT!!
Hugs,
Kathi   :)

Hope Everything's Ducky!

It's time for my DT project for 613 Avenue Create.

but this weeks optional twist is to
use a moon and/or stars in your creation.

I had this perfect sentiment by Verve Stamps.  My stars for the optional twist are embossed on the yellow cardstock and inked slightly with black ink.  Dies are from MFT and Impression Obsession.  Colored with Copics and chalks, paper pieced umbrella and boots.  Glossy accents were added to the raindrops and puddle.

Subway art for my lovebug :)

I try to have someone in mind when I create my DT projects and it usually ends up being my daughter Shianne.  So...this weeks Anything Goes challenge at 613 Avenue Create has the optional twist to use Subway Art.  I really like subway art, it's fun.  I found a free program that let's you create your own called Wordle which is what I used on my project.  Bugaboo Stamps is one of our sponsors this week and I used the image called Bugaboo Brat Bugs.

Dies by MFT, Impression Obsession, Papertrey Ink.  The image was masked and the clouds were sprayed with Perfect Pearls. I did a little doodling along the edges. Black eyelets and a wire hanger were added at the top.

colored with Copics/Prismacolor pencils,
Glossy Accents on the Ladybugs and heart

I added the mini hearts with a stamp

If you would like to see more inspiration check out what the 613 Avenue Create DT have created and check out my PINTEREST - SUBWAY ART board.

Thanks for stopping by!

Caffeine is a drug! FREEBIE

Hi ya!  Ok so I forgot to post my project for last weeks challenge at 613 Avenue Create. Yup...my bad.  I'll do that tomorrow, what's one more day right?  LOL!

Did you know it's National Caffeine Awareness Month?  Well I'm very aware that I would love some caffeine right now!  This week at 613 our challenge is Anything Goes but our optional twist is to use something caffeine related such as coffee, tea, soda or chocolate. Yum...maybe some chocolate will do.  I'm easily distracted  LOL!

We have 3 great sponsors this week: Drawn with CharacterBugaboo Stamps and Fitztown.  I'm using an image called We go together like Coffee & Donuts, well actually it's half of the image as I cropped the coffee cup from the original image.

We Go Together Like Coffee and Donuts Digital Stamp Art/ KopyKake Image

The coffee bean stamp is so old, it's from Custer's Last Stamp.  I don't think they're in business anymore.  I inked it with Antique Linen Distress Ink then rolled the edges on Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  The heart eyelet is ancient too.  Papers by Authentique and MFT.  Dies by MFT, coffee and cup highlighted with Copics, glossy accents on the coffee.

Here's the sentiment I used on my card.  Right click on image and save.
Ok that's it for now!  Make sure you stop by  613 Avenue Create to see what the DT have created.  They really are a talented bunch and we are so lucky to have them representing us at  613!

Kathi

It's a date!

Hope everyone is warm and toasty!  It's time for our 613 Avenue Create Challenge and the Create Your Own Challenge this week.  Today I have my husbands Valentine's Day gift.  My poor husband works two full time jobs so time alone together is very hard to come by!  So I've created a Date Night book.  There are 12 pre-paid dates with gift cards to restaurants, movies and even a gas card so during one of the summer months we can just jump in the car and go!  Destination unknown  :) The image I've used is from Time for Tea called Paige I love you.

Black and my "favorite" color

I'm back again!  I made two projects this week for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create.  The challenge is Anything Goes with an optional twist to use BLACK and your favorite color.  I had someone ask me what my favorite color was and I had to think about it for a minute.  My reply was "Well, I'm an artist so I don't have a favorite, they're all my favorite!"  But I guess if I were forced to choose just one it would have to be teal  :)   So here is my teal and black Santa!  Image by Bugaboo Stamps.

*ok first here's my little story.  It's been a long month at work, very stressed, busy with holidays, etc.  So I took a vacation day and locked myself in my craft room, music blasting just getting lost in the process.  Well...apparently I was so "lost" this is what I did...see the problem??  LOL!  My response, "Seriously!??  Oh !&*@$#%" and to top it off I used hot glue which I rarely use but I had the glue gun out.  Ugh...

Ok here's the finished project

I have to admit I just love how the stickpin came out on this!

KEEP CALM AND ROCK ON!

Hi all!
This weeks challenge at 613 Avenue Create is Anything Goes but you have the option to use the Create Your Own Challenge chart that I've created.   We are sponsored by KennyK Downloads and I just love this Rock Chick image!  I made a tissue box cover which was rather easy, I used the Back To The Books set from SVGCuts.  The sentiment I typed up.  This is an overdue birthday gift for a friend who is a true Rock Chick  :)

 We are sponsored by

I chose the Sassy Studio Zombie image because my daughter loves some popular zombie series.  And I think it's funny that it's Shabby Chic and not dark and gruesome  :)
For the color challenge I chose Column A - gray, Column B - pink, Column C - yellow
That's it for this time...thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Kathi
