Hi again! This is my second post today :) My brother-in-law asked me to make a card for his girlfriend, who loves owls, and this is what I came up with.
The owl SVG is called Winter Owl from Miss Kate's Cuttables. I used my MTC software and Cricut. I used scraps of CS, Stickles on the hat, a love charm and seed beads. Hugs,
Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday, whichever one you celebrate :) I am playing catch up...as usual! I only made 2 whole Christmas cards this year and I'll be posting them separately today. I feel terrible because I can't remember who made this adorable image! If anyone knows please let me know! Thank you to Marilyn of One Stamping Fool for letting me know that the stamped imaged is from Art Impressions called Five Whoots. I had received the image in a swap and couldn't remember who made it.
Whoo hoo! Save the date people! I can't believe our challenge blog 613 Avenue Create will be 2 in January! Anyone who has played in our Anything Goes Challenge knows we always have an optional twist. And we have some creative options (if I do say so myself LOL!) that make us unique, like the Create Your Own Challenge chart and the Create Your Own Color Challenge! Well, we have yet another new optional twist and for those who like a challenge I think you may just like it :) I can't tell you yet because it's one of the surprises we have for you! We have many prizes to be won so make sure you mark your calendars for this fun event!
Happy Holidays Everyone! The holidays are in full swing! I know everyone is busy but if you do happen to make a little something with paper why not stop by our Anything Goes Challenge at 613 Avenue Create! Our optional twist this week is to create some type of gift packaging. It does not have to be Christmas themed, there are so many holidays that you might need a little gift package for next year.
I chose the image Girl Puppy Love from Bugaboo Stamps. I plan on putting a small hand sanitizer, chapstick and candies in the cup :)
I colored the image with Copics then went in with a brown Prismacolor pencil and added the texture to the fur. I think it came out ok, definitely something to practice ;)
Stop by 613 Avenue Create to see what our wonderfully talented DT Ladies have come up with this week! Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to stop by!

Well I'm here today with a project for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create. The theme is always Anything Goes but this week the optional theme is CAS (clean and simple). One of our sponsors is The Stamping Boutiqueand the winner receives 4 digital images. I've used the Ribbon and Rose image, and yes I realize this isn't the best CAS design, guess I got a little carried away :)

Hi again! I'm back with another card for our challenge at613 Avenue Create. We have 4 great sponsors this week and I've also used this Seahorse image from QKR Stampede.
I water colored paper, printed the image then fussy cut it. I stippled over a stencil with pearlescent pigment inks. The die and sentiment are both by Verve.
I'm here with this weeks project for 613 Avenue Create and the optional theme is:
SIGHTS, SOUNDS, SMELLS OR TASTES OF SUMMER. What makes you think of summer? The smell of rain on the hot pavement? The sweet taste of watermelon? The sight of a beautifulsunset? The sounds of children laughing and playing? Well here is my interpretation, I've used the Girl on Her Bike image from Lee's Digi Shop.
Hi all! Just a quick post to let you know about our challenge at613 Avenue Create. We're Anything Goes but this weeksoptional twist is touse a sentiment. We have 3 great sponsors this week!
I've used an image from Scrapper's Delights called Pixie Corner. And I've used a technique called spotlighting. I love the Tim Holtz plain crinkle ribbon! I used the same Copic marker on the ribbon to match the wings! I hope you like it!

Hi everyone! I know my posts have been few and far between :( It's not because I haven't been crafting because I have! I told people at work they have to stop leaving and having birthdays! I can't keep up! LOL! Between that, running 613 Avenue Create by myself, work and family...I'm going bonkers!!! Whew...well speaking of 613 Avenue Create our challenge this week is Anything Goes and the optional theme is Party Time! Whatever you may be celebrating works for us! Come link up your projectsHERE! You could win prizes from our sponsors this week:
I chose to use the Guitar digi from Oak Pond Creations. For the guitar I water colored the paper and put sea salt on it. Love that technique but I didn't get my usual results because the humidity was 97% that day! Ugh can say gross? It sat in front of the fan for 2 hours and still didn't dry! I had to dry it with the hair dryer. Anyway, it still came out ok. I fussy cut layered it and added some enamel dots for the knobs. I popped it up on the base which was embossed with a Darice flames folder and sanded. The sentiment is by Verve.
Hope you like it! Come see out what our talented DT ladies have come up with this week! Hugs, Kathi :)
