It's time for a Challenge!

Hi Everyone!

Hope you have been warm and well!!  Two things we haven't had here in Rhode Island!  I had been sick but not as bad as most people.  I've been busy with the new challenge blog 613 Avenue Create and this week we have another Anything Goes Challenge with an optional twist to use the colors Blue, Cream and/or White.  Here is my card and I used an image from our sponsor DigiStamps4Joy.

I used Copics, Prismacolor pencils/Gamsol and chalks on this one image!  Guess I have commitment issues LOL!  The card base is a Spellbinders die, the detailed die is by Memory Box, paper by Martha Stewart and some Jolee's Hotfix Crystals.

A wonderful card...remembering MLK

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. day here in the states.  What an inspiring and compassionate man he was, I can't even image the things he would have accomplished if he were still here.  He changed the world in the short time he was here and I am thankful for that. 

I was reading a post about craft room storage ideas at Louise Brigden At Home and she has some good ideas.  I try to use magnet as much as possible for storage as well and someday I will get around to posting some pics for you! You should check out her Copic storage idea.  Anyway, I noticed a card she made with a quote from MLK.  I absolutely love the quote and her card!  It is beautiful with such detail and just perfect for the quote.

RN injection log binder

Hi Everyone!  It's our 2nd Challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and boy were we blown away by the response to the 1st one!!  Thank you to everyone who came over to support us with your incredible work  :)

So here is my project for this week.  The Nurse Mousie is by QKR Stampede who is one of the sponsors this week.  I chose to make a new binder for the nurses at work, which is much prettier than the plain old red binder they've had for years!
