This week at JDE we have a Color Challenge for you! It's an interesting combo of Teal, Brown and Orange. And when you look at mine you'll say to yourself "Um...ok where's the orange?" and I will say to you..."Uh...I messed up!" Well I knew it was supposed to be orange before I started creating and even during the process but obviously when assembling it I thought "Oh that scrap piece of yellow matches her hair perfectly and I'll place it at the bottom to draw the eye down the entire image..." Yeah I know...duh! Well that's what I get for crafting late night without coffee!! LOL!! And to top it off I didn't even realize until after I submitted it for the post. So I could have torn it apart and fixed it but I couldn't because I really love how it came out! So that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :) Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps and this is the "Coffee" image that comes with the sentiment.

Oh, Kathi, you didn't need to confess your boo-boos. I thought it was a purse when I looked at your image and didn't give it a second thought! LOL! It looks really cute anyway! I think this is a darling notebook--love the papers you used and the funny sentiment. And I wouldn't worry about the yellow/orange bit either. :^)

Love your card! Ha, ha, yeah, I've done coloring oops now and then. With some images it's hard to see where or what certain things are! Could be my age and eyes but oh, well. One time for a DT card I colored the top bun of hair as a hat. But I liked it as a hat and left it that way. Until you enlarged the pic, I was going to say her sweater or jacket looks a bit orange. Ah, well. Just trying to help a fellow crafter out. :) Still a fabulous card and love that coffee drinker image. This is a wonderful notepad and a really cute gift! Thanks for sharing it with us at the Clear It Out Challenge!

Oh I love your cute little notepad! Darling! I got a kick out of reading about your "mistakes"......LOL You know that we can ALL identify with that. Sometimes you have to really look at an image & then see how others have colored it before you can figure it all out. LOL It did look like a purse to me too. LOL

Kathy I can really appreciate this card because I am a coffee drinker. I've tried to give it up but can't do it. So I'm down to one cup a day. Don't worry about the "mess ups." Didn't anyone tell you there are no mistakes in crafting just another form of creativity. I am now a follower of your blog. Keep up the good work!
